GO SAILING is growing fast and looking for volunteers to help us spread the news about the fun of sailing and the app. We need energetic sailors to be GO SAILING AMBASSADORS. Ambassadors will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the GO SAILING app in their area.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ambassadors will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the GO SAILING app in their area. Specific duties will include the following:
Wear your GO SAILING hat or visor while you visit yacht clubs, sailing schools, West Marine-type chandleries, and other social sailing places.
Distribute postcards and posters at locations where sailors meet or socialize.
Answer questions and explain how the GO SAILING app is a ‘Free social networking app that keeps sailors connected and sailing’.
Organize meetings/presentations and hand out the app cards to individuals who are interested.
Share GO SAILING on your social media or via e-mail. Share fun sailing or GO SAILING event pics online – remember to mention @GoSailingApp or use the hashtag #GoSailingApp.
Post your own trips, social events, seminars, or meet-ups on GO SAILING.
Review other GO SAILING postings in your area and reach out to the event host via the app with tips and ideas that will help make their trips more successful.
